Pretty boring summer lol I just started my summer homework a little while ago--so much sooner than last year, like a week before school started haha... yeah.
Okay on to my new movie obsession (it used to be The Avengers) Brave! It's just great; Pixar's first female protagonist, the animation, and she DOESN'T get married at the end! She didn't need a guy to save her, is just... wonderful! The music was simply marvelous and not to mention... the characters have accents!
Yes, that does matter to me and makes me giddy. Because it kinda does annoy me that when the setting isn't in America and there somewhere else and sound so American... Yeah, I know, but can't they sound like they live there? This is mostly directed to movies with actually people... And, I also find that in cartoons, if it's set in another location and they have song numbers they sound sooo much better in the language of the person of the story. Like Anastasia and Prince of Egypt and I shall stop there before I go overboard hahaGlad they have songs like that in the movie--can't wait til I get the soundtrack!
Plus, you gotta love Elinor and Fergus. I think them and Carl and Ellie are up to par on people's favorite couples list.
